ARCHIE STEWART

Archie Stewart is a passionate and purpose-driven leader with over a decade of experience in workforce development, program management, and community engagement. She currently serves as the Reinvest Plan Officer for the City of Birmingham, where she leads the Reinvest Birmingham initiative, a historic $20M investment funded through the U.S. Economic Development Administration’s Recompete Pilot Program. In this role, she drives strategies that advance economic mobility and strengthen workforce access across Birmingham’s neighborhoods located specifically in the communities of North Birmingham, Northside, Smithfield, and Pratt, ensuring that every initiative reflects the City’s core value of putting people first. Her professional journey began in community programming and was shaped by her early work in the pageant industry, where she has held local and state titles as well as a national title, Miss Black US Ambassador, where she promoted youth development and leadership on national platforms. Since transitioning into workforce development in 2014, Archie has launched and scaled workforce training programs, built cross-sector partnerships that expand career pathways, and led large-scale education and innovation initiatives that connect residents to sustainable employment and economic opportunity.
