JUNIOR BOARD APPLICATION ¡HICA! is a community development and advocacy organization that champions economic equality, civic engagement and social justice for Latino families in Alabama. ¡HICA! is looking for passionate and dedicated young professionals who are willing to commit some of their time and resources to aid in furthering the efforts of the organization. As a member of the ¡HICA! Junior Board, you will be asked to aid in building awareness, increasing volunteer numbers, publicity and fundraising. You will also help in shaping the policies, activities and future of this organization.

If selected as a Junior Board Member, you will be expected to attend all junior board meetings, which will occur every month. There is no membership term for this junior board. Your membership needs to be renewed at the end of every year. There are no membership dues associated with this position. We do encourage all board members and junior board members to financially support ¡HICA! at whatever level they choose. Junior Board members will also be expected to actively participate alongside ¡HICA! Committee members as they work to further the aims of the organization.
