The Hispanic and Immigrant Center of Alabama, ¡HICA!, is one of the most successful social impact organizations in Alabama and has been the major catalyst for the empowerment and economic progress of the Latino community for over 20 years. ¡HICA! is a non-profit organization with a successful track record of providing over 3,000 residents annually with quality services while advocating to local and state leaders for policies that improve the quality of life of all residents.

COMMUNITY ADVOCACY MANAGER
The Community Advocacy Manager (CAM) will support and strengthen ¡HICA!’s advocacy and civic engagement capacity. The role is responsible for developing and executing grassroots advocacy campaigns and mobilizing community participation in civic life.

The mission of Camino Loan Fund fosters inclusive economic growth by providing access to capital for Latinx, immigrants and other LMI underserved communities.
Family Advocate – Shelby County
The Family Advocate – Shelby County is responsible for expanding ¡HICA!’s Strong Families. Program in the region by providing direct services, coordinating access to resources, and strengthening ¡HICA!’s presence throughout Shelby County.
Birmingham City Schools (BCS) Success Coach
The Success Coach is a full-time, school-based advocate dedicated to supporting low-to- moderate income (LMI) English Language Learner (ELL) students in Birmingham City Schools (BCS).
