Birmingham, AL, February 18th, 2025 – ¡HICA! is proud to announce that State Farm has awarded a $10,000 grant to support its Community Economic Development Program, reinforcing a shared commitment to empowering families and small businesses across Alabama.

With this continued support, ¡HICA! will expand its financial literacy workshops, business coaching, and access to capital initiatives, equipping entrepreneurs and families with the tools needed for financial stability and long-term success.

“State Farm’s investment allows us to strengthen our efforts in economic empowerment, ensuring families and small businesses have the knowledge and resources to thrive,” said Carlos Alemán, CEO at ¡HICA!. “We are grateful for their continued partnership in building financial security in our communities.”

The grant will directly support one-on-one financial coaching, small business development programs, and educational workshops, helping individuals navigate financial systems and grow their businesses.
