The Hispanic Interest Coalition of Alabama (¡HICA!) announces new board members and board officers.
We are happy to welcome and announce 6 business and nonprofit leaders to ¡HICA!’s Board of Directors for 2022. These leaders are bonded by a commitment to fairness, equity, and community building.

The 2022 Board officers are:
Kary Wolfe, a partner in the Labor & Employment Practice Group of Jones Walker, LLP., will serve as Chair. Kary joined the Board of ¡HICA! in 2019 and served as vice-chair in 2021.
Tiffany Kahlon, Founder & Attorney Recruiter at The Kahlon Network, will serve as Vice-Chair.
Jon Davies, Senior Vice President of Regions Financial Corporation, will serve as Treasurer.
Amanda Loper, principal at David Baker Architects’ Birmingham, will serve as Secretary.
The organization, which announced new CEO Carlos Alemán in 2021, continues building bridges in the community. ¡HICA! is very excited to continue expanding their work around community development. That work will surround business development, homeownership, micro-lending, and workforce development, integrating Latino families into the broader community and economic sector.
¡HICA! is a community development and advocacy organization that champions economic equality, civic engagement, and social justice for Latino and immigrant families in Alabama.
