JOB DESCRIPTION: Hilltop Montessori School in Birmingham, AL is looking for a Part Time Spanish Teacher for 2023-2024 school year for grades 1st-8th to work Mondays-Fridays. (Attendance at some evening school events and after school meetings is also required.) Hilltop Montessori School is an AMS, SAIS, NCPSA, and COGNIA accredited Montessori School established in 1996. We are located outside of Birmingham, AL in the township of Mt. Laurel on 7 acres in a beautiful wooded community. Preferred Qualifications:

• Has experience teaching the Spanish language and culture in an elementary and middle school setting

• Comfortable using technology in order to enhance the learning experience

• Able to plan and deliver engaging curriculum through remote learning methods if needed

• Able to collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency of program, to develop curriculum and to coordinate activities and interdisciplinary Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (in education preferred)

• Master’s Degree (preferred)

• Fluency in Spanish

• Montessori classroom experience (preferred)

• Ability to lift 50 pounds

• Authorized for employment in the U.S.

SALARY / HOURLY WAGE: $20
